Instead of snapping at them for leaving the cap off the toothpaste, try a little patience. Forgive them for the dumb stuff. Look them in the eye when they’re talking instead of scrolling through TikTok. Listen like you give a damn. And for the love of all things holy, stop trying to win every argument— you’re in a romantic relationship, not on the college debate team.  Put their needs ahead of yours once in a while, and start acting like the person they fell for back when you were still trying to impress them.

Basically, pour on the love like it’s an open bar at a wedding. If you do that, the warmth will come back, and those little cracks in the relationship? They won't matter as much.
